Fraijanes Coffee Harvest Celebration — Fraijanes, the coffee town just southeast of Guatemala City, throws its annual harvest festival Feb 1–4 with tastings, parades and traditional food.

Candlemas (feast of the Virgen de Candelaria) — the highland town of Chiantla in the Cuchumatanes mountains hosts one of Guatemala's biggest pilgrimages: thousands come to see the 16th-century statue.

🏍️ Caravana del Zorro · Guate City → Esquipulas
Caravana del Zorro — tens of thousands of motorcyclists ride from the capital to Esquipulas. Roads out of Guatemala City will be packed in the morning; riders arrive back on Sunday. Note: We would land at night, after the caravan has left.
